There’s one at auction currently that I would have liked to buy... But Japanese always bought the automatic version... So, nah... I could just sell one from France too so...

And a wagon too, those have become rare! Biggest engine, although not the GTi version. This 1.9L lump is still the same engine as the one in the Peugeot 205 GTi 1.9 though, although this one has less output to suit the cruiser character. This is the luxury version, with remote power locks and (rare) AC. A very late version in its decade+ production run, the replacement Xantia had been introduced at that time already but didn’t offer a wagon in the first year yet.
But anyway, this being an automatic makes me less enthusiastic. Typical 80s cars and automatics don’t match. These ones have 4 speed ZF units that aren’t horrible for the era, but a manual is just better in a car like that.
